Wolfgang Burget
Managing Director, Liebherr EMtec GmbH, Chairman of the CECE High-Level Technical Policy Advisory Group
Since 2009, Wolfgang Burget is a Managing Director at Liebherr-EMtec GmbH, which is one of the eleven divisions within the Liebherr-Group, where the earthmoving construction and material handling machinery activities are concentrated. Within Liebherr-EMtec GmbH Mr. Burget is responsible for R&D and QM.
Mr. Burget was General Manager of R&D at Liebherr France SAS since 2002 till July 2015 and President of Liebherr France SAS since 2006 till July 2015.
Within CECE, Wolfgang Burget chairs the “High Level Technology Policy Advisory Group – HLTPAG” since 2012.
Mr. Burget graduated at Technical University Karlsruhe (today “KIT”) and holds an Engineer’s degree in Mechanical Engineering as well as in Welding Engineering. Wolfgang Burget holds also a PhD degree obtained at Technical University Aachen (RWTH).
