CECE team is gearing up for bauma
The 32nd edition of bauma, the world’s leading trade fair for construction machinery, building material machines, mining machines, construction vehicles and construction equipment, will open its gates in Munich from 8th to 14th April.
Klaus Dittrich, Chairman and CEO of Messe München, is looking forward to the “biggest bauma in the history of the trade fair”. This year the exhibition is expected to register a record attendance: 600,000 visitors and 3,700 exhibitors from around 60 countries, presenting their latest products and innovations in an extended area of 614,000 m2.
For the first time, a selfie tower will be available in the north-east outdoor area, offering visitors and exhibitors a 54 m2 viewing platform at a height of 22 m. Also, a 35 m high ferris wheel will offer visitors a birds’ eye view of the exhibition.
bauma being CECE's Gold Exhibition Partner, CECE is glad to attend the fair and to give its own contribution through a series of events:
CECE, together with the Indian Construction Equipment Manufacturer's Association iCEMA, will sign a Memorandum of Understanding during an official signing ceremony. The opening speech will be given by MEP Jan Zahradil, Vice-Chair of the International Trade Committee of the European Parliament.
In accordance with this year edition's focus on efficiency, digitalisation and sustainability, CECE is hosting a Digital Construction workshop on R&D funding needs and opportunities from the EU, welcoming interventions from representatives from the European Commission and the industry executives.
CECE Press Conference will welcome trade experts, industry representatives and international journalists tackling the latest trends and challenges for the construction sector.
bauma will also be the occasion to celebrate CECE 60 Years in business, with a celebratory Cocktail Reception gathering CECE members and guests from all over the world at bauma fairgrounds.
