CECE is looking to hire an Events & Exhibitions Assistant

BRUSSELS – We are looking for a dynamic, ambitious & motivated person to fill the newly created position of Events & Exhibitions Assistant.

TASKS OF THE ASSISTANT

  • Organisation of CECE’s events;
  • Organisation of CECE’s presence at trade exhibitions;
  • Keep contacts with CECE’s exhibition partners on cooperation strategies;
  • Researching and drafting for CECE’s communication tools;
  • Help with implementing communications projects and strategies on social media;
  • General assistance with the administrative tasks of the office;
  • Maintenance of the contacts data base.

PROFILE OF THE IDEAL CANDIDATE

  • University graduate in European affairs, communication or political sciences;
  • Proficiency in English - additional foreign languages are appreciated;
  • Minimum 1-year experience in a similar position or a minimum of 3-years’ experience in related fields within international organisations;
  • Willing to learn and adapt to a small structure;
  • Interested in European policy and the role of representative associations;
  • Ability to simplify complex issues and take a pro-active hands-on approach.

CONDITIONS

It is a full-time position. Duration of the contract is 2 years, starting as soon as possible, at the latest 1st May. The remuneration will commensurate with age and experience.
