CECE Public Event Invitation: Navigating the New European Road Circulation Legislation
CECE is pleased to announce its event Navigating the New European Road Circulation Legislation, which will be hosted at INTERMAT Paris on 26th April. The event is open to all and will be taking place from 11h30-13h00 in Room 618 of Paris-Nord Villepinte.
On 21st February, the EU negotiators reached a provisional deal on the new regulation for non-road mobile machinery (NRMM) circulating on public roads. This initiative tackles the burden of navigating 27 separate national approval procedures, finally paving the way for a single, streamlined system across the EU. This not only removes market obstacles but also ensures a consistent level of safety for NRMM throughout Europe and cost and administrative savings for the industry. The new regulation fosters a more unified single market for NRMM, facilitating the free movement and boosting the construction industry.
Now that the framework is in place, there's still more to discuss! We're hosting a tailored session to delve deeper into the NRMM regulation and its implications. This event, while informative, will represent the perfect platform for open dialogue. We'll explore the specifics of the legislation, its political background, and the upcoming steps for implementation. This event represents a chance to gain a clear understanding of how the regulation will impact our sector, to discuss further industry involvement in the process, the upcoming delegated acts and technical requirements, and to gain insights into the EC's future plans and long-term vision. Don't miss this opportunity to navigate the new NRMM regulation with confidence and ask your questions to our panellists.
For further information, please consult the event programme. We are excited to announce that we will be welcoming speakers from the European Commission and European Parliament, with a panel debate to offer the audience the opportunity to ask their questions.
