Luis Ángel Salas Manrique

Luis Ángel Salas Manrique is a Psychologist specialized in large organizations (Oviedo University), Master degree in Labor Law (Santiago University), Executive program for CEO’s (PADE) IESE 2015 and some additional skills in lean manufacturing, problem-solving and continuous improvement methodologies. 

CEO of LoxamHune since 2014, previously, Mr. Salas executed, from 2007, the position of Human Resources and International Director of Hune Group, where he became a member of the board that created the current company, as a result of the merger of several companies from the sector of rental machinery. During this project Luis Ángel lead the organizational policy, human resources, IT and purchasing, as well as the new business in countries like Portugal, Saudi Arabia and Colombia from 2007 to 2014. 

In the past and for 25 years, Luis Angel held the positions Human Resources Director and a Board of Directors member in remarkable companies from financial sector (ABANCA nowadays) and automotive sector (Delphi Automotive System España) before joining Hune Group in 2007. 

Luis Angel’s professional career includes being Vice-president of ERA (European Rental Association in Brussels) and being honored with the award 2021 ERA/IRN European Rental Person of the Year. He has also been economic council member of Puerto Real town hall in Cádiz, a Professor in universities and business schools and he holds specific certifications in Lean Manufacturing and ICIM (Green Belt Six Sigma).
