Ari Almqvist

Professional History:  Since joining Moog in 1988, Ari’s strategic roles have included general manager of Moog Americas; control solutions manager in Moog Europe; general manager of Moog FCS in The Netherlands; defense controls manager, Europe; manager of Electric Systems in Central Europe; product line manager of systems electronics; system engineering manager in Moog Germany; and area manager of Moog Finland. Before joining Moog, Ari was a purchasing engineer for automation at Metso (now Neles) in its industrial process valve business. He was also a project engineer for Rexroth (Mecman Division) where he designed pneumatic and hydraulic systems for mobile and industrial applications.

Education:  Ari has a Bachelor of Science in automotive engineering from Helsinki Technical University of Applied Science and an MBA from Aalto University in Helsinki, Finland.

About me:  Ari and his wife, Domenika, have four adult children; two live in Finland and two in Germany. Ari and Domenika live in Lancaster, New York, and like all kinds of outdoor activities and visiting different places to discover the United States.
