Pelle Bokedal

Since January 2019, Pelle Bokedal is the Chairman of the High Level Technical Policy Advisory Group where he also represents Volvo Construction Equipment.

Pelle has been with Volvo for 24 years and held a wide number of leadership positions within Volvo Cars, Buses, Trucks and recently Construction Equipment where his current position is Vice President Strategy, Architecture and Systems. He leads several important organizations which are all connected to key information necessary for an efficient R&D Operation: Technology Strategy, Global Product Architecture and all IT systems which are used in the development of machines and services.  He is also responsible for the Global Laws and Regulations function.

Pelle holds two master’s degrees: Master of Computer Science and Electrical Engineering (1996) and a Master Executive Technology Management (2008) both at Chalmers University in Gothenburg. He has lived most of his life in Gothenburg, but he has also two years and a half in Brussels. When moving back in Gothenburg in 2017 he engaged himself politically and he is now also a part time politician
where he sits as a member of the Board of Intraservice for the City of Gothenburg.
