Ana Londoño Botero

Ana Joined Rio Tinto in September 2023 as External Affairs Advisor. She is following many of the policy areas relevant for Rio Tinto including sustainable finance, Critical Raw materials, Sustainability and Climate, among others. She was previously working for a German construction materials company Knauf, where she held the position of EU Public Affairs Manager, mainly focusing on energy and climate policies. Prior to that, she served as an Account Manager for the Green Transition Practice at FIPRA, an EU Public Affairs Consultancy, providing political insights and devising strategies for clients in the energy-intensive and raw materials sector.

Ana also has experience in the public sector having worked for the Colombian Government, where served as a liaison between various government levels and international organizations to promote sustainable social housing.
