Tora Leifland

Tora Leifland is Head of Public Affairs for Volvo Construction Equipment, responsible for helping to drive decarbonization in the construction sector globally by promoting collaboration across the value chain and shape public policy. In her role, Tora works closely across the Volvo Group to highlight the enablers for change needed to accelerate the transformation of the infrastructure and construction sectors.

Previously, she worked as Head of Responsible Business at Volvo Construction Equipment for five years with a special focus on market introduction of emission free solutions.

Tora joined Volvo Construction Equipment in Sweden in 2018 after living eight years in Switzerland, working for natural gas pipeline megaprojects.

Between 2002 and 2008, Tora was a Political Advisor at the Swedish Parliament and later also Political Advisor to the Swedish Minister of Agriculture.

Tora holds an MSc in European Political Economy from the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) and a BSc in Economics and International Politics from Aberystwyth University.
