Ezequiel Navarro

President of the Ricardo Valle Innovation Foundation

Ezequiel Navarro considers himself a scholar who presides over a startup, the Ricardo Valle Institute of Innovation Foundation. He built his executive career at Premo until June 2024, where he started as a research intern in the Electrical Engineering Department of the University of Málaga (UMA) in 1995. Over the years, he held various positions in R&D, Engineering, Export, Marketing, Sales, General Management, and became CEO in 2006, when he led a shareholder restructuring and international expansion.  

A very active member of industry associations such as Ametic, Pimec, and CIAC, and initiatives like Fundación Cre100do and Fundación Ciedes, where he serves as a trustee, Ezequiel is also a key player in the venture capital community. 

At 50, Ezequiel holds two dozen patents and is an engineer educated at the Polytechnic School of Málaga, UNED, and the Polytechnic University of Madrid, and has taught and lectured at numerous universities and business schools around the world.  

Until 2018, he represented business interests on the Social Council of Pompeu Fabra University in Barcelona, and he is currently a member of the Social Council of the University of Málaga.  

Recently, he was recognized by the Automotive Industry Cluster for the best Innovation Strategy, with more than 130 granted patents and around 50 pending. He is highly active in innovation strategies with clients such as Tesla, Amazon, and Facebook/Oculus. His company has developed a growth strategy based on digital tools, innovation, and ecosystems.   

His diversification strategy in Fourth Industrial Revolution technologies has positioned his company in fields such as IoT, VR/AR, and M2M, driving future diversification worldwide.  

One out of every two cars globally with Keyless Entry systems uses Premo components. Amazon's robots communicate via LF technology with Premo components, and Premo is the world leader in Electromagnetic Motion Tracking. Many electric and hybrid vehicles around the world use Premo components for energy charging and conversion.  

He founded the MálagaTechPak Execs Association, which brings together the top 50 companies in the Andalusian Technology Park. He also chairs the Ricardo Valle Institute of Innovation Foundation (Innova IRV), supported by the Málaga Council, the Junta de Andalucía, the Málaga City Council, UMA, PTA, and private companies such as Sando, Myramar, Mayoral.  

Since September, he has been advising the city of Málaga on boosting Industry 4.0.
