In 2015, growth was primarily visible in Southern Europe and CEE countries. Russia and France were the troubled areas. The large volume markets in Western and Northern Europe remained anchors of stability.
Germany and the UK stay ahead in the ranking, while the share of France decreased significantly. Thanks to its recovery, Italy is now back in forth position.
As the Russian market dragged down the overall balance, the European market was characterized by a sideways movement rather than an upward trend in 2015. The record levels of 2007 and 2008 are out of sight.
