CECE team visits Ammann and Wirtgen factories

HENNEF/WINDHAGEN – On June 29th and 30th the CECE team visited the Ammann and Wirtgen factories in Hennef and Windhagen Germany, as part of their annual team off-site event. The purpose of the visit was to expand the knowledge of the CECE team on road building equipment and on manufacturing of construction machinery in daily practice. European investment fund unlocks 12.8 billion euro for infrastructure and SME financing

BRUSSELS - Funds worth 12.8 billion euro have been invested in infrastructure and SME financing as part of the so-called EFSI scheme, the European investment plan launched by the Juncker Commission to stimulate economic growth in the EU. Leadership team confirmed for joint CECE-CEMA High-level Group CO2

BRUSSELS – The joint CECE-CEMA High-level group CO2 confirmed Wolfgang Burget (Liebherr) and Eberhard Nacke (Claas) in the leadership of the group, deciding to function in a co-chairmanship for the coming two years. Emissions law: ‘Stage V’ adopted by the EU Parliament

BRUSSELS - On 5 July, the European Parliament adopted the new ‘Stage V’ engine emissions legislation for non-road mobile machinery, thereby closing the file which has been one of the most important for CECE in the past year’s advocacy actions. New CECE PT Machinery confirms Jason Ong (Komatsu, CEA) as chair

BRUSSELS - Jason Ong from Komatsu Europe (CEA Member) will lead the new PT Machinery Project Team.  The PT Machinery will be actively involved in the European Commission’s machinery directive evaluation study that already started and that is supposed to end by April 2017.
